Installing a new AC without checking line set length, refrigerant match, and cooling load is how Rancho Santa Fe homeowners end up with a unit that never performs to spec. Every quote includes a real cooling load assessment before equipment is selected.
New AC installs miss their rated SEER2 efficiency more often than people realize, usually from oversizing or a mismatched line set. Equipment gets sized to the actual cooling load, and line sets follow manufacturer spec, not the shortest path.
The details other installers skip.
We size the unit off real measurements taken at your property, not a chart based on square footage.
We lay out a few tiers and the tradeoffs between them.
The installation work carries its own written guarantee, separate from whatever the equipment maker covers.
The refrigerant lines get sized to what the manufacturer spec sheet actually calls for, not whatever's most convenient to run.
Placement considers where you'll actually hear it.
What a full installation project covers.
We assess insulation, window exposure, and orientation to calculate correct tonnage.
We walk through efficiency options clearly, not marketing language.
Line sets are sized and insulated to manufacturer spec, avoiding efficiency losses.
Units get placed away from heat traps, debris, and noise-sensitive windows, not just wherever's convenient.
We test before calling it done.
Old systems get removed and disposed of properly, refrigerant recovered per EPA regulation.
What to expect.
We book an in-person cooling load assessment.

Our bedroom shares a wall with the neighbor's patio and the old condenser was a constant source of tension. New placement and a quieter unit fixed the relationship, not just the cooling.

— M. Dellacroce, homeowner
Converted our garage into a home gym and needed cooling that could handle both the workout heat and the summer sun through the door. They sized it for the actual use case, not just square footage.
