Heat pumps in Mount Vernon fail differently than a furnace or straight AC — a stuck reversing valve, an incomplete defrost cycle, or auxiliary heat that won't kick in all need specific diagnostic steps. Our techs train specifically on these systems, not just general repair.
General HVAC techs are often less confident with heat pumps since the reversing valve, defrost board, and aux heat strips don't exist on a standard split system. We test each component specifically, since a heat pump issue in January often has nothing in common with the same symptom in July.
